At CottageRental.com we have a large inventory of cottages that will suit different vacation plans. Once you know who is going (people, pets etc.) consider what kind of cottage holiday you are looking for. What sounds right to you . . .
Relaxing . . . does sleeping in, enjoying a quiet cup of coffee with a good book and sitting back enjoying the view from the dock sound appealing to you? Consider more secluded cottages on lakes that do not allow motorized watercraft.
Active . . . are you interested in swimming, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, campfires at night and then doing is all again tomorrow? Be sure you choose a cottage that has a good swimming area and some recreational amenities.
Family Friendly . . . are there young children in your group? A cottage with a beach and/or shallow water entry and a flat grassy area for playing outside may be the right choice for you.
Resort amenities . . . are a swimming pool, fitness centre, watercraft, a convenience store, games room, clubhouse, canoes and kayaks but still being in your own space on your list of requirements? A unit at a fractional ownership resort like "The Landscapes" or "Rocky Crest Resort" in Muskoka might be just the vacation place for you.
Vacationing with friends or family . . . planning to holiday with another family or extended family? We have cottages that can accommodate up to 12 people. How about a cottage with multiple common spaces so the grown-ups can socialize in one space while the kids hang out somewhere else?
