General DescriptionThis 1100 sq ft cottage is located close to Windermere on 3 Mile Lake and features a private, well treed setting with an excellent easterly view from large outside decks (at the cottage and at the waterfront) and dock. The cottage deck has been expanded to 800 sq ft and is gated so children or pets can be safely enclosed. Comfortable interior with large porch/dining area adjacent to the main lilving room, accessing deck. The kitchen was renovated in 2011 (photos not completely updated. Cottage has three bedrooms plus a children's sleep cabin. Close to golf in Windemere, shopping and attractions in Bracebridge, Huntsville and Port Carling.

Guest Comments"We liked the large deck, with gates at each end with the outdoor furniture and ample bbq were probably the most appreciated and most used. It was great to be able to have all of us sit together for a meal around the same table, but still have comfortable furniture there if we wanted quiet time to sit and read. The outdoor shower was great! We were more than happy with the accommodation. It was as shown on the website with everything there that we needed. The weather was lovely, everyone had a wonderful time.

"This is a really easy cottage for us to get comfortable in. For a family with 3 children, the bedroom set-ups work well and with the living room as well as the sunroom, no one feels crowded. Because it is set back a ways from the water, we can let the kids play outside knowing that they aren't right at the water's edge. Plus we really like 3 Mile Lake - it's big enough to do a lot of canoeing. Also, the cottage is located close enough to Bracebridge and Port Carling to be able to easily do groceries etc."

"Photographs were exactly what we saw upon arrival. Fantastic BIG HUGE Deck overlooking the lake & The Fire pit with benches. Owners called us on the 2nd night to check in to make sure we were comfortable. Very nice touch! Would rent this cottage again. However, I think a motorized boat would be a great thing to include at this price point. The Barbeque should be upgraded as 90% of cottagers like to cook outdoors. Our group had a fantastic time at cottage 104 on 3 Mile lake. We all came away with some wonderful memories of watching the intense thunder and lighting show that came thorough on Sunday July 8th. We did not let it dampen our spirits and simply sat out in the warm rain and watched in awe from the EXTRA LARGE deck!"
