General DescriptionImagine 8 acres of wooded property to explore, over 400' of shoreline - on a pristine and quiet lake (max 10hp motor restriction) - not to mention the great fishing! Then there's the five bedroom four/ bathroom modern cottage with all the 'whistles and bells' to make your family vacation one to remember! In addition to the main living area with vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling stone fireplace, wall of windows overlooking the lake, there is a large screened Muskoka room on the lower level. The cottage is set on an open and level grassy area with tall trees surrounding. There is a sandy play area above the water on the shore for small ones, plus shallow entry into the water. There's a kid's playset on the property as well as lots of children's furniture for both inside and out. Maeck Lake is a small lake near South River - approximately 1 hr from Hunstville and 30 minutes from South River. Access into Algonquin Park from South River, along with access to the Trans Canda Trail System at Spring Lake on the way into the cottage - 15 km of "The Forgotten Trail System". There are also some hiking trails on the cottage property itself.

Bedrooms & BathroomsFive bedrooms - there is a queen bed on the main floor with vaulted ceilings, walk out to the main deck and a four piece ensuite (claw foot bathtub with shower surround (not shown in photos), sink, toilet. There is a two piece powder room on this level as well. On the upstairs level there are three bedrooms - one with a double and walkout to small deck, one with a set of double bunks and one with a set of single bunks. There is a four piece bath on this level (clawfoot tub with shower surround (not shown in photos), sink, toilet. On the lower level (basement) there is a queen bedroom with a walk out to the grounds. This bedroom has an ensuite as well - three piece with shower, toilet and sink.

Waterfront & SwimmingApprox 420' of frontage - mostly natural shoreline. The area in front of the cottage has a lovely sandy play area beside the patio. There is a dock with a ladder with deep water swimming (approx 5') as well as shallow entry, firm sand bottom and fairly gradual slope for 40' into the water as well. Some reed growth off to either side.
