"Your email was a reminder to say thank you for your help in renting the cottage in Port Elgin. Although our weather was not brilliant we still had a great time and the cottage owners were lovely and so helpful. Everything was just as the pictures showed and it was so great to be near the harbour and beach. We were all planning ways we could retire in Elgin ie cleaning cottages, cutting lawns etc… dream on. We usually come to Canada every two years and will definitely be looking at your website next time. We have a site in England called ‘heart of the lakes’ that provides just such a standard of cottage and it was a delight to find the same in Canada and also reassuring to be dealt with in such a business like way. Thank you again for your help."

"The private atmosphere of the cottage appealed to us. We loved the little brook and the gazebo in the back of the yard within the treed area. The cottage was like a little home away from home. There were nothing missing from the Paderno pots and pans and the Mikasa dishes. We share the owners love of gardening, and on the day we were ready to leave, Barb gave us a gift of a few small perennial plants to bring home. They will bring back wonderful memories of our time at her cottage. She was a great hostess."

"This is a beautifully furnished and equipped cottage; by far the nicest holiday cottage we have rented. The kitchen was especially well-equipped -- everything was new or in as-new condition, with high-quality pots, appliances and implements. Location was perfect for our needs -- close enough for our toddler to walk to the beach under her own steam, but at the same time nicely removed from the noise and excitement of the beach and boardwalk. Garden was especially beautiful and well-tended."
