Guest Comments

"This is everyone’s idea of a cottage. Great swimming, boating, canoeing and wilderness nearby. Kennisis is a beautiful, large clear lake. This cottage, of all that we have rented or borrowed over the years, is the most welcoming to guests. There is lots of empty drawers in each bedroom and lots of empty cupboards in the kitchen. The fridge was also empty and clean. The 'cottage book' was clear and concise on the basic like garbage, boats, neighbours etc. Thanks to the owner and as always to Cottage Country Travel."

R. Lee

"The loved the privacy & the numerous mature tress on the property, the size of the cottage and that it had all the amenities but still maintained the "cottage" feel. I do not go cottaging to stay in a 3000 sq ft fully air conditioned home with satelite TV and high speed internet. Cottage 193 was just what we were looking for."

K. & P. Ye

"We were very happy with the cottage. Everything was in good working order, and it was very clean. The view was spectacular. We all enjoyed meals on the deck. The kids loved the hammock outside. The dock was in very good shape, and we spent a lot of time in the water."

M. Newnham

"The cottage was excellent with no surprises. A very cozy cottage with all the amenities. The water, the hammock were real favorites. The kitchen was well stocked and we arrived to a very clean cottage. We really enjoyed the cottage and would be interested in renting it again."

B. Morris

"We had an amazing time. the cottage was lovely, and clean. and the lake was beautiful and peacful."

T. Marcon

"We enjoyed sitting on the deck under the umbrella and enjoyed the canopy of the trees. We also spend a lot of time at the dock area, and enjoyed canoeing on the lake, and the river and taking a walk to the lock. We also visited Haliburton Conservation Base Camp, and enjoyed the cozy living room on a rainy morning."

B. Van Vliet

"We loved the lake, also the dining room/kitchen area. The wood beams were lovely. It was so warm, cosy and homey. Nicely private, lovely lot. Great waterfront. I wish I was there again."

M. Nicols

"The cottage was exactly how I had pictured it. The dock and the lake were great. We loved the property and the cottage was so clean and well kept with everything we needed."
