General DescriptionThis very modern style vacation home is on beautiful Clear Lake in Muskoka, about 30 minutes east of Bracebridge. There are two, main floor living rooms (down 3 steps from main level) with lots of windows overlooking the lake, a spacious, bright kitchen/dining area with a walk out to a large rear deck.. The lower, walkout level (unfinished basement) has 2 of the 4 bedrooms, the 3rd 2 piece bathroom and an unfinished rec/ living area featuring a small pool table. Walk out from lower level to deck. Approximately 14 terraced steps to waterfront area. No marina on the lake.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms4 Bedrooms. There are two spacious bedrooms on the main (upper) floor of the cottage - each have queen size beds. On the lower (walkout) level of the cottage there are 2 bedrooms - each have double beds. 2 1/2 Bathrooms. The master bedroom (main floor) has a 3 piece ensuite with shower. There is also a 4 piece with tub and shower on the main floor and a 2 piece with toilet & sink only in the basement/lower level.

Waterfront & SwimmingGradual slope (approx. 14 terraced steps) from the cottage to the water's edge where the shore is rocky. There is a set of steps allowing easy access into the very shallow water and excellent wading area for children and non-swimmers. There is a sandy play area up on the shore as well - separate from the waterline. The water bottom is sandy/pebbly and deepens gradually. Clean, deep water swimming from each of 2 docks and from the swimming raft. Southerly exposure.

The builders built the cottage and amenities to fit the property rather than the usual, other way around. Multiple areas to retreat to for swimming, sunning, reading, game playing, or snoozing. Terrific for a gathering of a few friends or a small family. We liked this cottage very much. The owner has gone to lengths to ensure every need you would have away from home is taken care of. He even called on the first evening to make sure all was well...this was especially great for me as I preceded my husband by a day. I've rented cottages for a number of years...from the early internet days until now. I really think the caliber of cottages and the web site itself is top notch.
