Guest Comments"The cottage was very spacious! The bedrooms were set in their own "wing" of the cottage allowing the early risers to not disturb the late risers! The decor was very interesting from the kerosene lanterns, icebox, old sewing machine and farm tools to the antique stove in the kitchen. Each day we discovered something we had not noticed before. We loved the dock. The weather was beautiful and the dock was big enough for all of us to sit on. The outdoor fireplace was popular with the kids for enjoying smores every night. The huge table in the dining room was the meeting place of good friends, good food, and great times. We had a wonderful time and would love to return again next year!"

"The descriptions and images of the property were excellent and defined our expectations nicely. We were pleasantly surprised on our arrival. The most appealing aspect for us was the large dining area - 12-14 chairs around a single table - which made for wonderful family meals. On arrival i would add that the way the cottage was furnished and fitted was impressive - it was intimate in the way a family cottage can only be. We are interested in renting this cottage again and definitely recommend it to others. Unfortunately we are only in Canada every second or third year so it will have to wait. Please pass on our appreciation to the owners for making their family cottage of 50 years available for us rent for our family birthday celebration. We all loved the cottage, enjoyed the lake and created memories together. Apart from a bit more sunshine, we could not have asked for anything more!"

"The cottage was even better than the description and images! It was a lovely place that worked very well for an extended family with children of varying ages. We loved the layout of the cottage. The downstairs bedrooms were well away from the living area so that older and very young family members could sleep undisturbed. The kitchen was huge and great for joint cooking. The living room and dining area were large enough, with enough seating to accommodate everyone. And the large upstairs bedroom and sitting area with television and gaming console worked really well for the 11 to 17 year olds. We also greatly enjoyed the dock, with ample area for sitting and enjoying sunrises and sunsets."
