General DescriptionRecently renovated, this four bedroom family cottage sits on 1.3 acres of land overlooking beautiful Balsam Lake. The renovations have modernized the cottage but kept the character and charm intact - a great family property. Lots of open grassy areas, tall trees and stone patio at the shoreline. The cottage has very large living and dining areas with vaulted pine ceilings, wood floors, stone fireplace and lots of windows facing the lake. There is a loft area overlooking the living room with extra space to play or sit and enjoy the view. There are decks both at the front and rear of the cottage. A short distance from town of Coboconk.

Waterfront & SwimmingApproximately 101' shoreline with cement break wall and 20' dock with clean deep water swimming (approx 5' deep at end of dock). There are boat whips installed on the dock. Also available - a boat lift which can handle up to 23' boat or 4500 lbs. There is some shallow entry over stone steps into approx. 1' deep water at the shoreline beside the boat house. The bottom is flat bedrock for about 10' then firm sandy bottom and gradual slope to deeper water.

Had a couple of windy days, one of which forced us to move our boat to a neighbour's dock as the waves were washing over our dock. We talked to the owner to tell him about the situation and he had a company come install a boat lift the next day! Now that's service :)"

"The cottage was lovely and clean and comfortable, pretty much what we expected. We truly enjoyed our stay here at this cottage and would consider coming back! We enjoyed the layout of the cottage, it's beautiful flat, well manicured lot was clean and great for the kids to run around. It was wonderful to have a bunk bed in each of the 2 rooms, which gave lots of sleeping options for us. The cottage had just the right comfy feel, spacious enough and also with few and simple nice decor and beautiful furnishings which made us feel at home. Kitchen had everything we needed, (except for a blender).

"Absolutely, wonderfully updated cottage. Very clean and well appointed cottage, wonderful location, very private with lots of grassy areas. Located right on one of the points on Balsam Lake which allows for spectacular views of the lake. Having the satellite is a great option on rainy days. Great job by the Travel Services team."
