Extensive deck with comfortable patio furniture. Master bedroom with ensuite is at mezzanine level, all others on the main floor. The cottage is located about 15 minutes by car to the town of Apsley. Other local amenities include a marina for watercraft rentals within 5 minutes, a lovely family-friendly beach within 15 minutes by car (can be accessed by boat as well). Other area attractions include The Gut Gorge Conservation area (10 mins), Petroglyphs Provincial Park (30 mins), Silent Lake Provincial Park (30 mins), Kawartha Lake Provincial Park (15 mins). Canoe routes and hiking trails can be found in these areas.

"We had a wonderful time. The cottage was well-maintained, clean, and had all the comforts of home. We are definitely interested in renting again through CCTS, as we had a very positive experience. We loved the size, cleanliness, inventory (kitchen supplies, family room books/movies, canoe), and privacy of this cottage as well as the swimming and fishing.
While we LOVED the cottage and had a GREAT time, this cottage did not allow pets. Next time, we will definitely select a cottage that allows dogs - ours (a golden retriever) would have loved the experience and we regretted not bringing her."
