General DescriptionSimply stunning! "The Silver Lining" is a recently built executive vacation home set on the shores of Silver Lake. The views from the cottage are magnificent - and can be enjoyed from almost any room of this 4000 square foot, custom designed home. Vaulted ceilings, open concept, stone fireplace in the living room, with an additional fireplace in the spacious rec room on the lower level (both are woodburning). Kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances. The master bedroom and ensuite bath along with one other bedroom and bathroom are on the main level with three additional bedrooms and a bathroom on the lower (walk out) level. The screened porch runs along one side of the cottage and provides extensive sitting and eating areas as well as a view of the lake. The deck runs across the full width of the cottage and features glass railings for an unobstructed view of the lake. The cottage is located approximately 10 min. north of Mactier and about 15 minutes south of Parry Sound.

Bedrooms & BathroomsOn the main floor is a master suite with a king bed, walk out to deck, and a four piece bathroom (jacuzzi tub, shower, toilet & sink). Small tv in master. On this level is a four piece family bath (tub/shower, toilet & sink) and a second bedroom with a queen bed and a small TV. On the lower level there are three bedrooms (two with queen beds and a third with a queen/double bunk combo), and a three piece bathroom (shower, toilet & sink). All bedrooms have ceiling fans.

Waterfront & SwimmingApprox. 325' of shoreline on Silver Lake. Natural rocky shoreline with extensive docking. Clean deep water swimming from the dock. (there are two ladders on the dock). Stairs/access to the waterfront from the cottage to be completed spring 2010. There is a large level area at the waterfront (20 shallow steps to the dock from this area) to sit out and enjoy the lakeside activities. Note - cottage is across lake from highway - some road noise is audible.
