Guest Comments

"Cottage was fabulous, exactly like the pictures. We loved the views. No matter what room you sat in you could see the lake. The Sun Room was absolutely gorgeous!"

"We were all so pleased when we saw the cottage and what it had to offer- I only get one week holiday away per year and it was just where I would want to be. I appreciated the views and number of pictures. I had a knee replacement in the spring and appreciated knowing the lot was flat as was the cottage inside so it was easy for me to get around. I was able to see that my two year old granddaughter could walk in and out of the water herself with no problem. We loved the size of the cottage, homey feeling, large open livingroom and beautiful sun porch, cleanliness, large lot with beautiful views from dining area, privacy, short drive from Oshawa, small beach area for little one,row boat to use, lots of birds to watch, close to town for groceries and water."

"The cottage was EXACTLY what we expected and wanted. It was perfect. We were looking for a cottage - not a house on the water - a place where our children had no technology and that felt like a cottage was supposed to feel - somewhere where we could get back to nature. The furniture was basic and the property and lake were simple and simply beautiful. We loved it and would definitely recommend this cottage to our friends. We have rented several cottages over the years and the two we have enjoyed the most were both through your agency. We have had negative experiences with other cottages and will, in the future, definitely stick with Cottage Country."
