Guest Comments

"The cottage and waterfront was even better then the pictures represented. The travel package was comprehensive and detailed, with precise directions and instructions. The property was nicely treed, lots of great seating, beautiful view, wonderfully appointed, warm and inviting and it was a treat to have the horseshoe pit. We had a wonderful time, I would also like to note that the people on the lake were friendly and helpful, (specifically John), who gave us a tour of the lake (cliffs included) and enhanced our vacation even further. The lake itself was tremendous, the location superb and its proximity to amenities excellent."

"The best thing was the wonderful breeze coming off the water- when they called it "Sunny Breezes", they were very accurate. During the very hot days, it was most welcome. The cottage was very well equipped, especially the kitchen. Besides the swimming and boating, we certainly enjoyed the "pastimes"-many ping-pong and horseshoe tournaments, crockinole games, movies to watch and books to read-great! This website is the best one I have seen-easy to manouver around and very well organized. I have used it in the past and will continue to use it in the future."

"We loved that there were a lot of pictures on the website and that the cottage was on the water. last year we had rented a place that wasn't on the water, and it was only when we had immediate access that we realized it was we we missing. I will never rent again without water. It was also wonderful to have access to the row boat and canoe. let us explore the lake. I would have loved the opportunity to extend our stay and would be interested in renting this cottage again."

"The photos and the descriptions were very accurate. The package was very well put together and very informative. A very professional rental service - we were impressed. The beach entry was great for our two young children. It was nice to have a comfortable seating area close to the beach so we could supervise the kids but also enjoy a book and a coffee. We also took advantage of the table by the water at mealtime - it was really nice to enjoy a meal right on the waterfront. The cottage itself was spacious, clean, and well equipped. The loons were outstanding - it was awesome to see so many and to listen to them in the evening. Absolutely beautiful.

We really enjoyed this cottage and we would consider renting it again next year. We would recommend it highly. Our kids have already asked when we are going back. We rented a boat and met numerous Crane Lake folks at the marina and at the boat launch. Everyone was so gracious and so helpful. As well, the neighbouring cottagers were also very kind and helpful. We felt that Crane Lake was a lovely community of really great people. Very warm and welcoming. Muskoka at its best.
