General DescriptionEverything a cottage should be! This three bedroom (plus bunkie) cottage is constructed in log with wood walls, floors and ceilings - lots of character and warmth! Lots of windows with great lake views. In addition to a comfortable living area there is a sun room and a screened porch - plenty of space to move around. There are two decks as well for outdoor living. Very comfortably furnished and finished. The cottage and bunkie are set on a large lot (3.5 acres) with over 300' of frontage. There are open grassy areas and tall trees for privacy. The cottage is set quite close to the waterfront. Butterfly Lake is in the heart of Muskoka, minutes from Port Carling. (Hwy is visible/audible across lake from cottage).

Bedrooms & BathroomsThe main cottage has three bedrooms. The master has a queen bed and a three piece ensuite (shower, toilet, sink). There is a double bed in the second room and a double (Murphy) bed in the another which also accesses the screened porch. There is a second family bathroom (shower, toilet & sink) as well. The bunkie, which is located approximately 25 meters to the left of the main cottage and has a set of single bunks.

Waterfront & SwimmingWith 310' of frontage - there is lots of room and privacy on this property. There are two docks and swim areas. Primarily deep water swimming from main dock (ladder). There is some limited shallow entry beside dock on the right side of the property over sandy bottom (soft as you wade out). There is also a swim raft with slide which is anchored in deeper water.
