General DescriptionWonderful family cottage - three bedroom - plus bunkie - set on well treed lot on beautiful Lake Menominee in the heart of Muskoka. The cottage has vaulted living room ceilings in pine, with a skylight and an open kitchen/dining/living room. For 2013, the spacious screened porch off of the main living area has been converted into a 3-season Muskoka room, adding lots of additional interior living space. The bunkie is located about 30' behind the cottage. Very well equipped with extras like laundry, dishwasher, satellite tv, two bathrooms. Located about 10 minutes from town of Baysville for shopping and about 15 minutes from Huntsville. Great property for winter rentals - located just 200 yards from the main snowmobile trail for this region, 15 minutes from Deerhurst & Hidden Valley Ski resort, close to Algonquin Park and also excellent snow shoeing and cross country skiing on Lake Menominee.

Bedrooms & BathroomsThere are three bedrooms in the main cottage. The master has a queen bed and a crib, and a walk out to a deck. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The third has 2 singles (trundle bed) plus a queen sofa bed. The bunkie (located about 30' behind the cottage) has two single bunks. There is a three piece bathroom with a tub, toilet & sink and a four piece bathroom with a tub/shower, toilet & sink.

Waterfront & SwimmingApproximately 100' of shoreline accessed 37 steps. Dock - 24' long with approx. 3' depth at the end (ladder). Beside the dock there is some limited shallow entry over 3 stone steps into shallow (6" deep) water, sand bottom and gradual slope to end of dock. Please note the dock is not available for Fall/Winter bookings.
