Cottage Rentals in the Autumn
Ontario’s “Cottage Country” is famous for spectacular fall foliage. Try a scenic hike through colourful forests, paddle along quiet lakes and rivers or take an afternoon to drive along the winding roads of Cottage Country to see how the colours of the trees changes before your eyes!
The golf courses at Rocky Crest Resort as well as many others are wonderful to play in autumn. The pool at The Landscapes on Lake of Bays is open and heated until early October – and you can always warm up in the year-round hot tub!
Our private cottages are a joy to visit in autumn too. The lakes are usually quieter and any watercraft and dock amenities are generally available until at least Thanksgiving weekend. Starry skies at night and sitting around a campfire or staying cosy by the fire inside will create memories to last until the next summer!
Most of our cottages offer reduced rates for rentals after Labour Day and many are available for 3-night stays in late September and throughout October. Our availability is up to date but it is our policy to confirm availability prior to confirming your booking for all low-season and 3-night stays.
