Guest Comments

"The cottage was exactly what we were looking for and the pictures were great. After being there the view of Lake Vernon was amazing. The stone three bedroom lakefront was what made the decision easy for my wife. The firepit with wood supplied and the two bathrooms was another drawing card. I would rent this cottage every year if it was possible. This would be my wife`s dream home. We absolutely loved it.

There was a few mishaps on our end which really ending up to make this cottage even better than you know. I had a motor bike accident which left me with a bum knee, the brother-inlaw was on crutches and our friend from Saskatchewan had bad knees also. The cottage had a bathroom downstairs and one bedroom which worked out good. Getting down to the dock or water had two different ways the stairs or the walking path which was not really steep. That was also a good thing. There was plenty of sitting room in the livingroom which had an excellent view of the lake. We could not have asked for a better cottage or weather than we had. The owner John had also phoned on Saturday to see if we arrived and really made us feel welcomed. Thanks for making our yearly vacation such a memorable, relaxing one."

"Loved the lakefront view and access to the water, along with the watercraft and lounging dock space. Also appreciated the open lawn at the front of the property for the kids to romp about. A cottage with character and charm, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The beach was not far away, with shallow warm water, and a nice park feel. Lots of space and very comfortable."

”We love this rustic old home with a beautiful view of the lake. The new addition to the back deck provides a wonderful place to view the lake and eat or just relax. It is located in a quiet part of the lake so it is great for rafting, swimming and boating. We rented Sherwood for 5 weeks last year and 3 weeks this year so obviously we love the cottage."

C. Adams

"We enjoyed the large lot, excellent bass fishing (but also caught pike and pickerel from the rowboat !), nice waterfront."

G. Kilpatrick

"Awesome! we had a great time. We liked the actual cottage; meaning the site of it and the site of the lake. We had a wonderful time and a great vacation."

"This was a great experience for us as it was the first time having to rent a cottage.Your attention to details and follow ups with us were very professional. The location on Lake Vernon was perfect. Water skiing after dinner just before dark was great. 40 miles of boating."

S. Loos

"Everything was as good or better than we were expecting. The layout allowed for both communal activity and private space. The lake was beautiful and there were many places to sit and enjoy the property - inside, decks, lawn and water."
