The District of Parry Sound covers a vast geographical area from Muskoka to the French River and Lake Nipissing to the north and from Georgian Bay in the west to parts of Algonquin Park in the east.

The lakes - pristine, the views - awesome, the variety of experience – priceless. Take the Island Queen Cruise out of Parry Sound to experience the glory of the 30,000 islands and spectacular Georgian Bay then sit down to a Chopin Concerto or an evening of jazz during the world-famous Festival of the Sound in Parry Sound. Alternatively, pick from an ATV tour, charter boat fishing on Georgian Bay or golf or paddling or cycling. Whether you’re into adventure activities or something a little more cultured, the Parry Sound area has a great deal to offer.

This area is home to the Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve which was designated by UNESCO in 2004. The eastern portion of Georgian Bay between Port Severn and the French River, approximately 200 kms of shoreline covering 347,000 hectares is the world’s largest freshwater archipelago, also known as the 30,000 Islands. Cruise these waters for a remarkable experience.
