"The kids loved the beach, everyone enjoyed the fishing. We had a fantastic vacation. Cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Beach was great, fishing was outstanding. Caught a few nice bass right off the dock! We would definitely consider returning next year." 2015
"We had a wonderful time. The cottage was lovely and in great condition. I wouldn't really call it a cottage -- it was a house, and it was great. The owner has maintained it very well. The water was just right for the kids to swim in, and the private beach (though small) was used quite a bit. Liked the solitude - not many other people around. It was well-stocked with everything needed for the stay, including games, reading material, movies, water entertainment, cooking, etc. The bathrooms were a pleasant surprise ... you don\'t normally get such great bathrooms and plumbing, and that was our one initial worry. All in all a great time!"
"The cottage information shows the cottage exactly as it really is. That's the wonderful thing about your service- you give an honest overview of what the cottage is like - no surprises once we arrive!
I love the peaceful atmosphere. There is only 1 other cottage on the lake, so it is very private. We enjoyed the sunroom, the sandy beach and the canoe rides. The cottage is very comfortable and the air conditionings is definitely a bonus.
So is the generator, as the power did go off briefly but we were not left in the dark!! The flat area for the kids is fantastic- lots of space to have games such as soccer and baseball. The kids had a great time!
We have rented this cottage several times and have always enjoyed it. We would be interested in renting it again next summer!"
"The cottage was stunning and was supplied with everything we needed. Particularly enjoyed the sandy beach and the privacy of the cottage property."
"We loved everything about the property. It was obvious that the owners put a lot of thought into the layout. The attention to the finer details was impressive. For example, books for every taste (my 4 year old loved the "little polar bear' series); fans everywhere; a wider range of music cd's; the sun room was set apart frorm the bedrooms for early risers; the cottage was above ground level to enjoy the beautiful view; grassy large side yard for outdoor sports. We also really enjoyed all the modern amenities (propane fireplace, convection oven, satellite TV, hardwood throughout!).
"The cottage is well appointed, lots of space (indoors and out), modern but private Muskoka setting... and thanks for ordering the terrific weather. Again, Cottage Country and the cottage owner deserve many thanks for efforts to make our weekend spectacular... we were very impressed to say the least!
" It's hard to narrow down the features that appealed to us most. The cottage was clean, new, tastefully furnished and decorated with all the comforts and amenities including air-conditioning. A real "home away from home". Comfortable beds and bedding! Wonderfully large property and flat grassy areas."
"We enjoyed having the sandy area at the waterfront. My son and his cousin played there for 2 days non-stop! We also liked the flat grassy area for the kids to play. The lake was quiet and peaceful. The firpit was great - we had 2 campfires and enjoyed roasted marshmallows! We had a fabulous time at the cottage - good times were shared with good friends and family in a lovely, peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The sunroom was a nice feature - it was nice to relax and be able to have a great view. The sandy beach and the grassy area were a hit with the kids!! The cottage was comfortable, well laid out, and cozy without being small. We would love to return again next summer!"
"Apart from the fact that the cottage showed pride-of-ownership, the setting was so quiet that you actually felt like you were the only people on the lake, except for that family of lovely loons."
