'A Boathouse View' is a wonderful, traditional family cottage which provides a spectacular vacation opportunity for young and old alike! Situated on a large, treed lot with westerly exposure, the waterfront features of this property have to be seen to be truly appreciated. There’s a small sandy beach for little ones with shallow entry as well a swim raft anchored in deep water for older children and adults. The boathouse rooftop deck is spacious and comfortably furnished for a full day of family enjoyment! The four bedroom, one bathroom cottage has pine floors and walls, is comfortably furnished and has the ‘whistles and bells’ we’ve come to appreciate like unlimited wi-fi. Large walk out deck (deck railing now has pickets in place as shown in several recently added photos) plus a screened porch extends the living space of this cottage. (Access to cottage from parking is via eighteen cement terraced steps).

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

There are four bedrooms, three have double beds and one has a single bed. The bathroom has a sink, toilet & shower. Current photos show TV in main bedroom (which also has a skylight), TV can be moved to the living area. Kitchen linens are provided.

Kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, stove/oven and ‘fridge/freezer, and water cooler (hot & cold). Stacking laundry (washer/dryer) located in bathroom. Note: fireplace shown in photos not to be used. There is no auxiliary heating in the cottage beyond a small electric fireplace on the opposite wall in living room. Cottage has smart TV with Roku (which can be moved into the living area), unlimited high-speed Wifi/internet with excellent coverage in the cottage as well as out on the boathouse roof top! Screened porch with bar ‘fridge, patio furniture, gas bbq, campfire pit plus chiminea as well, including firewood, horseshoe pit as well as two kayaks, a canoe and aluminum boat with oars. (Guest Bunkie & shed not accessible to renters). End of Stay cleaning & garbage removal included.

Waterfront & Swimming

Approximately 300’ of shoreline. Small sandy beach area to right of boathouse, sandy/gravel bottom, gradual slope, large rocks as you wade out and around cement pier. Swim raft (with ladder) anchored in deeper water to left side of waterfront. Water shoes recommended.
