'Sunset Perch - Pigeon Lake' is a wonderful, traditional family cottage which provides a spectacular vacation opportunity for young and old alike! Situated on a large, treed lot with westerly exposure, the waterfront features of this property have to be seen to be truly appreciated. There’s a small sandy beach for little ones with shallow entry as well a swim raft anchored in deep water for older children and adults. The boathouse rooftop deck is spacious and comfortably furnished for a full day of family enjoyment! The four-bedroom, one bathroom cottage has pine floors and walls, a newly renovated living room which is comfortably furnished and has all the ‘bells and whistles’ we’ve come to appreciate like unlimited Wi-Fi, large walk out deck (deck railing now has pickets in place as shown in several recently added photos) plus a screened porch extends the living space of this cottage. (Access to cottage from parking is via eighteen cement terraced steps).

There are four bedrooms, three have double beds and one has a single bed. The bathroom has a sink, toilet and shower. There is a 40″ Smart T.V. in one of the bedrooms.

Amenities

Kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, stove/oven, fridge/freezer and water cooler (hot and cold). Stacking laundry (washer/dryer) located in bathroom. The fireplace can be used, please follow instructions that come with the Travel Kit. There is also a commercial wall heater in the living room as well as 2large ceiling fans for cooling. Cottage has a 50″ Smart T.V. in the living room, unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi/internet with excellent coverage in the cottage as well as out on the boathouse roof top! Screened porch with bar fridge, patio furniture, gas BBQ, campfire pit plus chiminea as well, including firewood. Horseshoe pit, four kayaks (2 are sea kayaks), a paddleboard, a canoe and aluminum boat with oars. Fishing tackle provided. (Guest Bunkie and shed not accessible to renters). End of Stay cleaning, Linens and garbage removal included.

Waterfront & Swimming

Approximately 300’ of shoreline. Small sandy beach area to right of boathouse, sandy/gravel bottom, gradual slope, large rocks as you wade out and around cement pier. Swim raft (with ladder) anchored in deeper water to left side of waterfront. Water shoes recommended.
