Guest Comments
“The cottage information was accurate and reflected what we saw and experienced while at the cottage. The features that appealed to us the most were the front sitting area that had a great view of the lake, the treed lot that kept the cottage in the shade and therefore relatively cool on hot days, the decks at the front of the cottage and the dock and raft at the lake. The fishing was also very good. We had a very relaxing and joyful experience at this cottage. The lake, proximity to Baysville and surrounding areas (ie. Dorset) all made for a great week.”

“Since we had rain and some cool temperatures, the propane fireplace was a big hit with everyone, that, and the excellent barbecue.”

“This was a wonderful vacation for the six of us. We all have quite different interests, but we all got a tremendous amount out of our stay. The Dock and platform were very well used. We spent lots of time on, in and around the water. Dickie Lake is a nice size and the other cottagers kept to themselves. There was more space than we anticipated. We came for a rest and we all came away feeling relaxed and refreshed.”

“It’s been always a dream of mine to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family at a cottage. In October 2018, I achieved that goal. This cottage was the perfect location. It had everything and more! We were able to enjoy each other’s company and the splendours of fall colours in a location that encapsulates Muskoka’s beauty. The photos of this cottage do not give it justice; it’s large and has many places to relax and enjoy the view, the company or the water. We were 6 adults and fit quite comfortably with room to spare. Two fire pits! It’s an amazing place. Would highly recommend. The owners have thought of every detail—from different spaces to relax, extra bedding and a fireplace that makes everything oh so comfortable. We had an amazing time. I can’t wait to go back.
Thank you for this amazing experience!”

“The pictures accurately represented the cottage. No surprises, thanks! You might want to include a picture of the fire pit…which we enjoyed using! We enjoyed the view of the lake, screened sun room, kayak and canoe, clear and clean lake, nice cottage for a good value. For our family it was great!”

“The cottage was exactly like on the internet and what we expected. Great Muskoka cottage. Not fancy. Just what we wanted. We went after Labor day it was quiet. Easiest vacation we have ever had. Easy to arrange for the rental and very easy to get there and know what to expect.
The weather was not the greatest and it was a very nice surprise when the owners phoned and said that on Saturday we could spend the day and leave around 4 pm (check out 11:00 a.m) if we wanted as they did not have anyone coming in. So we got an extra day.
Great holiday. Have already recommended it to friends. Thanks again.”

“This cottage felt just like a Muskoka cottage should, perfect blend of new and old with trees, water, sun and fresh muskoka air throughout, screened room was superb. The photo’s were very accurate, surreal how looking at them for so long leading up made you feel like you knew the place already, felt like coming home. Highly recommend.”

“Where to start? This is such a great cottage – the photos on the website really don’t do it justice. There is so much space to spread out and relax and the owners have left so many thoughtful touches to make it feel like home. The shady trees provide nature’s air conditioning and the screened room allows for a summer respite, even in the rain. A wonderful spot!”

” We loved being right on the lake. Watching the stars at night off the dock will be very memorable to myself and my daughter. I really did enjoy this cottage. We loved our week here.”
