Guest Comments

“It was a great cottage that was set up very well for guests. It was clean and we really valued that. We loved the screened in porch for when it rained and the bugs in the evening. We LOVED the fire pit and the ability to grill over it. You could tell the cottage is well loved and a lot of attention to detail.”

C. Hayos 2021

“The cottage was amazing, and the pictures more than accurately represent the cottage. It was more beautiful in person. Specious, clean, very private, far away from neighbours and the road. There are so many features about this cottage that we loved. The size of the lake is perfect and warmed up nicely. The size of the cottage is so comfortable, with so many areas to sit. The dock for the sun, the porch and fire area for the shade and the screened in porch was great for games at night. All the bedrooms have ceiling fans and were spacious and comfortable. There is a gorgeous breeze at night. The family area is huge. The firepit is lovely. A beautiful cottage that was built with care and love. It is a peaceful and beautiful area that promotes relaxation, peace and fantastic northern nature”
J.Fletcher – 2020

“We loved the obvious personal work that has been put into building the cottage. It is definitely a labour of love. The interior wood was beautiful, with wonderful carving details. It smells of fresh pine. Every detail helped to make the cottage warm and inviting. The outside looks like a huge wooden cottage from Switzerland. We loved it all. It was the best cottage we have rented so far.”
J. Clarke – 2019

“All in all, our family spent an idyllic week away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cottage was beautiful, and up to our high standard of living. As well, we liked that the location was secluded and private, yet still within driving distance to Dorset.”
J. Dice 2016

“It was better than we expected! Brand new screened in porch that was not in the original description. It was great!! The view was spectacular, and the cottage was clean, roomy, and tastefully decorated. Great spot for adults and kids.”
