Situated approximately 10 minutes south of Parry Sound on beautiful, Kingshott Lake, on which there are fewer than 15 cottages, the property has over 200' of lake frontage and 3 acres of property with plenty of open, level ground between the cottage and the waterfront and swimming area for outside activities. The cottage has over 3,200 sq ft of living space on 3 levels, 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a spacious, open concept kitchen/living/dining area with vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows. There is recreation room with ping pong table on the lower, walk-out level. Other features include a large screened porch with walk-out to a spacious deck which overlooks the lawn and lakefront.

There are 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in the cottage on 3 levels. On the main level there are two bedrooms including the master bedroom with queen size bed and ensuite bathroom (4 piece with double sinks) and a second bedroom with a queen sized bed. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a set of bunk beds with a lower double/upper single bed combination. Downstairs, off the rec room there are two more bedrooms, one with a king (two singles pushed together)- single bed shown in photo no longer there, and the other with a queen bed. There is a 4 piece bathroom on this floor as well as a 3 piece bathroom (with shower) on the main floor.
This cottage comes very well equipped. The new kitchen features all new, stainless steel appliances including fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher. You'll also find the cottage equipped with hgh-speed wireless internet access, 2 TV's both with DVD players, one flat panel TV with satellite reception, PS3,and iPod docking station. There is a propane fireplace in the living area. Laundry facilities (washer/dryer) are provided. Outside, you'll have lots to do.
Waterfront & Swimming
Over 200' of waterfront, accessed from a level, child-friendly lawn from the cottage. The natural shorline has an easy access, clean swimming area beside the 12' dock where the water depth is approximately 3' at it's end. There are lily pads off to the sides of the dock. (Note - motor restricted lake). In addition to the outstanding beach volleyball court, you'll find plenty of watercraft including a canoe, 12' aluminum boat with oars, a paddleboat and kayak.

Complete the Cottage Request Form
Complete the "Cottage Request Form". If you have any questions, we can be reached by email [mail(at)cottagerental(dot)com] or by telepone at 905.862.0252 or at 1.877.862.0254 (Toll-Free). One of our staff will be happy to answer any questions that you have, verify cottage availability, rate, etc. At this time we will create/update a file for you with the information needed to respond to your booking request.
Return the Booking Application Form
Once we have put the cottage on "Hold", we will email you our Booking Application Form for completion and return to our office by fax or email within 2 days. A payment of 30% of the cost of the cottage plus our $90.00 + HST agency service fee (plus the cost of Trip Cancellation Insurance, if purchased) will be charged to the credit card provided with the Booking Form. A post-dated cheque for the balance payment of 70%, (plus any optional charges such as Accidental Damage Waiver, Cleaning Service, Linens Service) dated 6 weeks prior to occupancy, is forwarded to our office by mail within 5 business days. The Travel Package will be forwarded to you within 15 days of our having processed your booking.
Receive Booking Confirmation and Rental Package
After receipt and processing by our office, a Booking Confirmation and Travel Package are mailed to the Booking Applicant. Please note that, no booking is considered 'confirmed' until a written Booking Confirmation has been produced by our office. In addition to the Booking Confirmation, the Travel Package will include a copy of the Cottage/General page from our website listing the cottage inventory, bedsizes, etc., a map to the cottage and a set of Cottage Instructions/Rules.
Receive Cottage Access Information
Approximately one week prior to the start date of your holiday, we will contact you with instructions on accessing the cottage. Generally, this will be via a Lock Box at the cottage; however, there may be other arrangements necessary depending on the cottage..
