The cottage is small and cozy at about 700 sq ft with lovely log walls, wood floors and vaulted ceilings. New in fall 2006 - an enclosed sunporch was added to the cottage. "The previous comments on this cottage are all true - very clean, cozy, well maintained. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the sun porch. Very nice spot!"

"We enjoyed the river experience and it was a quiet location. The deck and sun room were quite nice. The row of cedars along the river front afforded privacy yet allowed views to the water. Enjoyed the bird feeder and many Blue Jays!! It has good access to many trails in the area and lots of local interest. We had fun exploring the river and waterfront settings by paddle boat and canoe."
J. Shelton 2015
"The cleanliness on arrival, general tidiness/organization of items in the cottage and the screened-in porch are what really set this cottage apart from others we've rented in the past. It was very cozy, and the owner seemed to make a special effort to ensure that we felt like welcome guests (the wine set out on the table when we arrived was a VERY nice touch!). This was the first time we've completely enjoyed our cottage vacation and didn't have to deal with a finicky water heater, a leaky roof, someone else's moldy leftover food or some other nuisance. In fact, we've already recommended it to a couple of friends and sent the weblink.
We have been thoroughly impressed by both Cottage 529 and the service we received from Cottage Country Travel Services - the detailed info package, the answers to our additional questions over e-mail and phone. Already looking forward to planning next year's vacation! Thanks very much!"
“…enjoyed the log cabin, very well-maintained, clean and cozy. We had a very relaxing time! A great vacation.”
