General DescriptionThis lovely log cabin retreat is located a short distance north of Fenelon Falls (south of Coboconk). You can boat from this cottage into Fenelon Falls on Cameron Lake (about a 15 minute boat ride) and to many other locations on the Trent Severn System. The cottage is small and cozy at about 700 sq ft with lovely log walls, wood floors and vaulted ceilings. New in fall 2006 - an enclosed sunporch was added to the cottage. This property is not suited to young children due to only deep water swimming.

Waterfront & SwimmingApproximately 100' of east facing frontage on the Burnt River. There are a few steps from the flat lawn area to the shoreline dock. There are two steps from the dock into the clean, deep-water swimming. For those with their own boats, there is some current in the river. There is a boat launch facility located very close to the cottage on the Burnt River.

Guest Comments"The cleanliness on arrival, general tidiness/organization of items in the cottage and the screened-in porch are what really set this cottage apart from others we've rented in the past. It was very cozy, and the owner seemed to make a special effort to ensure that we felt like welcome guests (the wine set out on the table when we arrived was a VERY nice touch!). This was the first time we've completely enjoyed our cottage vacation and didn't have to deal with a finicky water heater, a leaky roof, someone else's moldy leftover food or some other nuisance. In fact, we've already recommended it to a couple of friends and sent the weblink.
