This home is located on Burridge Lake which is approximately 1 mile x 3 miles in size and offers excellent fishing for walleye, pike and bass for the angler in the party. A variety of watercraft and an excellent dock and swimming raft make this a perfect location from which to enjoy Ontario's Kingston to Ottawa area. This location is approximately 45 minutes north of attractive lakefront city of Kingston, about 15 minutes from the town of Westport, 30 minutes to Perth and about 1.5 hours to Ottawa.

This spacious cottage has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms on 2 levels. On the main level there are 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a 4 poster king bed with an ensuite bathroom (jacuzzi tub, double sink, shower, toilet and bidet). The second bedroom has a queen size bed and ensuite bathroom (toilet, sink, shower). The third bedroom has a queen bed. There is also a 2 peice powder room. On the upper level there is a loft with seating/play area and double bed. As well, there is a spacious suite that provides a comfortable living / sleeping area with a king size bed. There is a 3 piece bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. Also on this level is a bedroom with a set of bunk beds (singles). There is also a powder room (toilet & sink) on the main floor, off the kitchen/dining area. Also provided are a high chair and a 'pack & play'. (Additional to the 5 bathrooms, there is a 2 piece powder room on the basement level.)

A "rainy day room" with heated floor equipped with a pool table & air hockey game is located in the converted garage. There is a cabin/bunkhouse with deck situated between the main cottage and the waterfront with an excellent view to the large dock, swimming raft with a water slide and swimming areas. Canoe/paddles, paddleboat and a kayak provided as well.

Waterfront & Swimming

165' feet of northwest facing waterfront. Rock steps to stone patio. Wood steps to lower deck and water's edge with large dock with comfortable seating. Swim raft with slide. There is some shallow entry at the shoreline, gradually sloping on a gravel/sand bottom (some weed growth off to side of swimming area) to a depth of about 3 feet at the end of the dock.

We went in the winter so the usable indoor space was key (we had 7 kids with us) and the kitchen made cooking a joy! We didn't even mind the clean up as the 'off duty adults' could sit around the island with a glass of wine and chat to those 'on duty'. It was spectacularly outfitted.

We had such a fantastic time and the owners were terrific hosts even though they weren't present. They called to check on us in a very appropriate manner, even to warn us of an approaching snow storm as they figured we wouldn't be watching TV (they were right). Complete the Cottage Request Form

Complete the "Cottage Request Form". If you have any questions, we can be reached by email [mail(at)cottagerental(dot)com] or by telepone at 905.862.0252 or at 1.877.862.0254 (Toll-Free). One of our staff will be happy to answer any questions that you have, verify cottage availability, rate, etc. At this time we will create/update a file for you with the information needed to respond to your booking request.

Return the Booking Application Form

Once we have put the cottage on "Hold", we will email you our Booking Application Form for completion and return to our office by fax or email within 2 days. A payment of 30% of the cost of the cottage plus our $90.00 + HST agency service fee (plus the cost of Trip Cancellation Insurance, if purchased) will be charged to the credit card provided with the Booking Form. A post-dated cheque for the balance payment of 70%, (plus any optional charges such as Accidental Damage Waiver, Cleaning Service, Linens Service) dated 6 weeks prior to occupancy, is forwarded to our office by mail within 5 business days. The Travel Package will be forwarded to you within 15 days of our having processed your booking.

Receive Booking Confirmation and Rental Package

After receipt and processing by our office, a Booking Confirmation and Travel Package are mailed to the Booking Applicant. Please note that, no booking is considered 'confirmed' until a written Booking Confirmation has been produced by our office. In addition to the Booking Confirmation, the Travel Package will include a copy of the Cottage/General page from our website listing the cottage inventory, bedsizes, etc., a map to the cottage and a set of Cottage Instructions/Rules.

Receive Cottage Access Information

Approximately one week prior to the start date of your holiday, we will contact you with instructions on accessing the cottage. Generally, this will be via a Lock Box at the cottage; however, there may be other arrangements necessary depending on the cottage..
