Recently renovated this three bedroom cottage (plus bunkie and a pull-out couch bed in the family room) has two living areas, vaulted pine ceilings, wood floors, and is very comfortably furnished and finished. Set on a 170' lot with tall trees on either side, easy access to the waterfront and a great location - minutes from Baysville.

Three bedrooms in this cottage - the master has a queen bed and a walk out to the deck overlooking the water. Second bedroom has a queen bed and the third has two single beds. There is a bunkie with two sets of single bunk beds. There is also a pull-out couch in the family room. The cottage has a four piece bathroom (tub/shower, sink, toilet) and a three piece (shower, toilet and sink).

Waterfront & Swimming

The waterfront is approximately 170' and offers clean, deep water swimming from the 30' dock, plus some limited shallow entry beside the dock at the shore on sandy/pebbly bottom, wadeable for a about 4'. The cottage is located on a quiet bay off the Muskoka River and is about 5 min. boat ride to the narrows into Lake of Bays.

"Everything was great! The information and photos were very accurate and the property was very well represented in the photos. The location of the cottage was ideal for us. It was close to our relatives and, more importantly, the distance to the water was good. I had 2 elderly folks with us and they were able to manage the walk to the lakeshore (assisted with poles) without too much difficulty. The kayaks and canoe were important features for us to have. We enjoyed them daily. The cottage kitchen worked beautifully given our numbers and our interest in having our relatives join us for some dinners. This worked great and having the bbq and fire pit meant we could entertain outside."

We loved the rustic look, but with all modern conveniences - deck along front of cottage was perfect, with 3 patio door access. Everything worked (dishwasher, stereo, windows, etc!) Very private but not far from LCBO and bakery :) It was actually more expensive than we had originally planned for, but it was so nice we would certainly consider renting again. Owners called to make sure we arrived and all was well, but didn't bother us at all. We felt very welcomed in their lovely cottage!

Please read through our "Booking Notes". This FAQ document will explain various issues relating to the rental process and party responsibilities and obligations.

Complete the Cottage Request Form

Complete the "Cottage Request Form". If you have any questions, we can be reached by email [mail(at)cottagerental(dot)com] or by telepone at 905.862.0252 or at 1.877.862.0254 (Toll-Free). One of our staff will be happy to answer any questions that you have, verify cottage availability, rate, etc. At this time we will create/update a file for you with the information needed to respond to your booking request.

Return the Booking Application Form

Once we have put the cottage on "Hold", we will email you our Booking Application Form for completion and return to our office by fax or email within 2 days. A payment of 30% of the cost of the cottage plus our $90.00 + HST agency service fee (plus the cost of Trip Cancellation Insurance, if purchased) will be charged to the credit card provided with the Booking Form. A post-dated cheque for the balance payment of 70%, (plus any optional charges such as Accidental Damage Waiver, Cleaning Service, Linens Service) dated 6 weeks prior to occupancy, is forwarded to our office by mail within 5 business days. The Travel Package will be forwarded to you within 15 days of our having processed your booking.

Receive Booking Confirmation and Rental Package

After receipt and processing by our office, a Booking Confirmation and Travel Package are mailed to the Booking Applicant. Please note that, no booking is considered 'confirmed' until a written Booking Confirmation has been produced by our office. In addition to the Booking Confirmation, the Travel Package will include a copy of the Cottage/General page from our website listing the cottage inventory, bedsizes, etc., a map to the cottage and a set of Cottage Instructions/Rules.

Receive Cottage Access Information

Approximately one week prior to the start date of your holiday, we will contact you with instructions on accessing the cottage. Generally, this will be via a Lock Box at the cottage; however, there may be other arrangements necessary depending on the cottage..
