General DescriptionThis amazing retreat was originally built as a lodge in the 1930's (the dining room with beamed ceilings is original). With extensive renovations, combining modern conconveniences with the charm and character of the early lodge, the cottage has vaulted and wood ceilings in both the kitchen and living room, wood floors, walls of windows overlooking the lake, and skylights in many of the rooms. There are fireplaces in both the living area and the kitchen. Very comfortably furnished and equipped with all the modern amenties. New in 2013 is the renovated boathouse (20' 14') with additional living space. Located a few minutes from the town of Wilberforce, and approximately 30 minutes from Haliburton.

Bedrooms & BathroomsThere are four bedrooms plus a loft - all with skylights. The master has a double bed, television and electric fireplace. Two other main floor bedrooms have double beds, and there is a third bedroom/den with a double sofa bed. Upstairs is a loft, paritally open to the kitchen, with a double futon sofa bed. There is one four piece bathroom with a jacuzzi tub/shower, toilet & sink. There is a set of single bunk beds in the newly renovated boat house.

AmenitiesRecently renovated kitchen has a gas fireplace, vaulted wood ceilings, and a magnificent wall of windows overlooking the lake. Eat up breakfast bar. Gas stove/oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, water cooler. Laundry. Phone. Satellite tv., high speed internet (access is currently via ethernet cable - wi-fi scheduled to be installed in early 2013). 5 DVD players, CD and four VCRs. Living room has electric fireplace, dining room has propane fireplace. Wrap around deck with screened gazebo on lower deck. New in 2013 is the renovated 20'x14' boathouse (Guest House). It is located next to the driveway. The interior consists of a love seat, armchair, coffee table, lamps, bunkbeds, tv, stereo, DVD/VCR and electric fireplace. Three outdoor fireplaces plus a campfire pit. Dock, boat with oars, canoe, paddleboat. Patio furniture, gas bbq.

Waterfront & SwimmingApproximately 183' of shoreline. Dock, approx. 48' long with clean, deep water swimming, ladder. In addition, there is a limited shallow entry area, over four large steppping stones onto a firm sandy bottom and gradual slope (some large boulders).
