(sun in late morning and afternoon at waterfront and morning on back deck). The cottage has living space on two levels with a main living room with walk-out to a large deck, lots of patio furniture, a second living room/sun room off the kitchen dining area as well as a lower level rec room. Kushog Lake is part of a 2 lake system that includes Kushog and Lake St. Nora and provide 12+ kilometers of excellent boating opportunities.

Bedrooms & bathrooms
There are 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on two levels in this cottage (maximum 8 persons). On the main floor there is a master with a queen bed, a second bedroom with a queen bed and the third has 1 single bed and a single/double bunk. On the lower level, one bedroom has a set of single bunks as well as a single bed and other bedroom has a queen bed with a single bed. There is a bright bathroom on each floor with a main, 4 piece bath on the upper/main level and a 3 piece bath w/shower on the lower level.

Amenities
This is a very well equipped and very comfortable cottage. Telephone, wi-fi high speed internet access ( strength may vary), satellite TV with PVR, DVD, VCR, 2 fireplaces (one fieldstone). The kitchen is very well equipped with fridge (second fridge not shown in photos), stove, microwave, toaster oven and there are laundry facilities too. Dining table extends to seat eight easily. Ping Pong table and Skittles (pool table) are available in rec room. Recreational equipment includes a 14' aluminum boat with oars, a canoe/paddles, paddleboat, 2 kayaks (one for children, one for adults) and windsurfer (used as kayak), stand up paddleboard, swim raft and water trampoline. Lots of dock and deck space at the cottage, along with lots of patio furniture, umbrellas and tables for outside eating. Grassy front lawn for badminton. Safe, land trampoline. Waterfront has lots of water toys like the "magic carpet" floating mat. Two outdoor firepits and lakeside deck. “Mosquito Buzz” is hired yearly, for bi-monthly summer spraying of the perimeter of the property. This significantly reduces mosquitos on the entire cottage property.

Waterfront & Swimming
There is a modest, terraced slope to the waterfront from the slightly elevated cottage. From a level lawn area you can access the water on a sandy bottom with a gradual slope. Depending on water levels there may be some exposed sand beach area. There is also a large dock/deck area, now with a floating dock extension from which there is deep water access. Recently, there has been some waterfront landscaping with large stone steps into the shallow water to the right of the main dock area as well as at the dock area itself. Lots of sitting area at the two waterfront areas and the wonderful lakeside deck.

"The descriptions and photos do a a good job of describing the property. The cottage is very well equipped inside and outside. the kitchen is very nicely set up with the the dishes and cooking utensils we needed. There are lots of games and things for the children to amuse themselves with including the water trampoline. We had a great time and would certainly be interested in renting again. We really appreciate the thoughtfulness of the owners. It really helps set up the vacation when you are met at the cottage by such a helpful and friendly owner."
