"This was our 4th visit to cottage 677 Granite Point. We had a wonderful time. The cottage is as represented in the website. Our 2 grandchildren, son and daughter-in-law and their dog spent the week with us. It was a great family vacation, playing on the beach, perfect for children in the lake, and we had everything we needed. The large gated deck is perfect for relaxing, keeping the kids, and dog safe. A quiet and peaceful location, easy to get to, and the neighbours are very friendly. We look forward to renting again."

Beach set up was also a great place to hang out; watch how close the blue heron will come to you. The owner was very responsive and kept the cottage clean. Furniture is in good shape. "We made considerable use of the expansive deck. It offered many different options for seating and for following or avoiding the sun. It was also a great vantage point for watching the birds, squirrels and other wildlife, and the hummingbird feeder was constantly busy. We loved that the deck was gated so we didn't have to worry about where our dog was. The bay was very quiet despite how populated it is. Views out to the larger lake were beautiful. Water access was easy and we liked sitting on the step with our feet in the water at times. The cottage was extremely well-equipped, both in terms of kitchenware and appliances, and entertainment options like movies and the CD player."

"Very excellent cottage! We have rented it twice now. The descriptions are very accurate. This cottage is very well stocked with the basics of dishes, pots/pans etc. The DVD library is excellent, stereo etc. It has a great waterfront and kayaks, canoe and boat, paddles. The deck is excellent and the gates contained our small dog when we didn't want her at the water level. The view of the water is delightful and the sunsets breathtaking! The owners keep this cottage very clean. Equipment is replaced when needed. The waterfront is maintained regularly, beach is raked and any weeds are removed from the water."

"The deck was GREAT. Easy access to the water. QUIET!!!! Very clean. Great spot for the dog to swim. The bass fishing off the dock was real nice!! One slight draw back was the abundance of weeds in the lake, when canoeing. We really enjoyed our week at the cottage. Probably one of the most peaceful places we have rented. The fact that there were no power boats or jet skis flying by constantly was a breath of fresh air! The sandy beach was also a really nice touch, for the north. Great time with our grown children to hang out and catch up!"
