General DescriptionGlamour Lake is located approximately 20 minutes southeast of Haliburton near the small community of Gooderham. This cottage has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen and living area. 880 sq. ft. of living space that is comfortably furnished and beautifully maintained. There is a large screened porch with patio table for outside dining. South-westerly exposure for lots of sun and evening sunsets and a spacious, flat lawn area between the cottage and waterfront - excellent for children. There is no telephone but cellular (Bell) service is in the area and the owners of rental cottage are conveniently located next door for emergency telephone use. No marina on lake, accessible Crown Land in the area and seven golf courses available in Haliburton County. Cleaning service and bed/bath linens are available at an extra cost. Babysitting service may also be available on request.
For winter rentals, you will find downhill skiing at Sir Sam's Ski Resort in the Haliburton area about 40 minutes away, cross-country skiing in the Haliburton about 25 minutes away and with good snow conditions (usually from January to earl y March), there are ungroomed snowmobile trails in the vicinity of the cottage.

”The screened in porch, entertainment unit (VCR for the kids), the owners having a variety of videos on hand, the microwave, the dishwasher was an added bonus and the fact that the bedrooms were off to one side of the cottage not right off of the main family room/kitchen area. We also really appreciated the gas BBQ and having a boat available (we rented a motor for a few days and also used the canoe).
